BOOK REVIEW- Weyward by emilia hart
This book promises to be hopeful and uplifting, and a magical tale of empowered women woven together across time. In my opinion, it was none of these things. It was, in fact, about three women who were treated horribly by men and happened to be from the same family and like bugs
BROOKE + TYLER- DOWNTOWN MANASSAS ENGAGEMENT SESSION
Brooke wanted a fun + funky bridal inspired session, with a mix of some urban and spicy photos! She found the perfect dress, and we headed to the Manassas parking garage to give the photos the perfect modern vibe. We had so much fun and I cannot wait for their wedding!!!
BOOK REVIEW- a love letter to whiskey by kandi steiner
I DON'T EVEN KNOW.
I have no thoughts in my head. I've taken a few days to gather my thoughts about this book, but I still feel lost. I also want to preface this by saying that I did not read Jamie's POV because by that point I was exhausted and did not care.
book review- Jasper Vale by Devney Perry
I have genuinely really loved the Edens series thus far, and I was very excited for this release. I wasn't overly into Jasper or Eloise as characters, but I felt the same way about Foster and Talia and they grew on me throughout their book. I had high hopes that this would be the same, and I was PRAYING for an ending that switched things up a little bit
book review- fractured sky by catherine cowles
At first, I was really into this book. I loved the backstory, and the PTSD/trauma elements we were seeing. A girl fighting for her freedom? A surly cowboy who isolates from the rest of the world? Say less. You've got me. I was hooked.
book review- tattered by devney perry
Tattered follows Thea and Logan, who had a one night stand in NYC that resulted in an unplanned pregnancy. Logan didn't give Thea his last name, and she wasn't able to track him down to let him know about the baby (Charlie). Fast forward six years, and Logan runs into Thea in small town Montana, and meets his daughter.
book review- parallel by elle o’roark
As with most of the reviews that I read, I needed more. This is more of an intro novella than a first book in a series, and I feel like I can't really form an opinion on it because I don't know enough. The cliffhanger at the end was aggravating instead of captivating, and just left me feeling empty.
book review- all rhodes lead here by mariana zapata
If you enjoy character driven books that feel like real life, this is for you. It really does have it all - romance, emotion, depth, character development- and does it well. I am just a glutton for romance, and wanted to see so much more of Rhodes.
mountains + moose origin story
Taking photos of life’s most important moments is truly the greatest honor. Knowing that those photos are turned into family heirlooms, passed down through generations, and cherished forever gives me goosebumps.
It’s been a wild ride, and it was completely unexpected, but I am so thankful that the road led me here.
BOOK REVIEW- A long time coming by meghan quinn
First off, I loved this book. I read it in two sittings and could not put it down. A Long Time Coming follows Lia as she is preparing for her wedding, dealing with a crazy MIL, and attempting to cope with the loss of her parents. Throughout it all, she leans on her best friend, Breaker, who is there for her no matter what.
GABRIELLE + ERICH: autumn anniversary session at manassas battlefield
Sometimes, it takes couples a while to warm up to being in front of the camera, and it can take a while to let the guards down and let their authentic self shine through. Not these two. From the second I started snapping, they were belly laughing, dancing, and completely themselves. And nothing makes my photographer heart happier.
Wedding planning advice - financial edition
Trust me when I say that I completely understand how stressful the financial aspects of wedding planning can be. In full transparency, we blew our original wedding budget in the first month. After that, I knew that I would have to be super strategic, and these tips really did help me save my sanity (and our bank account).
